Prop firm plan and timeline
We do not buy a challenge until a bot shows 30+ trades and more than +0.1R a trade. Even then, we run an MT5 demo first. No bot has done this yet.
The firms we are looking at ($10,000 account)
| Rule | FundedNext Stellar Lite (chosen for now, with EA add-on) | FTMO (backup, €89) |
|---|---|---|
| Profit targets | 8%, then 4% (+$800, then +$400) | 10%, then 5% (+$1,000, then +$500) |
| Daily loss limit | 4% (−$400) | 5% (−$500) |
| Max loss | 8% static (−$800, floor $9,200) | 10% (−$1,000, floor $9,000) |
| Notes | At least 2 days, no time limit | Bots allowed for free |
Our bots already use the stricter FundedNext limits.
Careful
Firm rules and prices change. The table is from our notes, not a live copy. Confirm every number with the firm before you pay.
Before buying
- Confirm in writing that a Python MT5 bot is allowed.
- Confirm Nepal eligibility and the payout rules.
- Never hide bot use from the firm.
Timeline
| When | What |
|---|---|
| Now to mid-December 2026 | Learn. All bots on paper. Test new ideas honestly. |
| Mid-December | Checkpoint: which bot has 30+ trades and more than +0.1R? |
| January 2027 | Decide: MT5 demo and then a challenge, or keep learning. |
Honest note
"Keep learning" is an acceptable result too. We pay for a challenge only when the numbers earn it.
